Dr. Jonathan (Jothy) Rosenberg
Dr. Rosenberg is a former professor of computer science and a serial entrepreneur. In the five companies
Jothy has founded and/or run the return to investors has been over $230 million. Most recently, GeoTrust,
an Internet security firm that Jothy started in 1999, sold to Verisign for $125 million. Jothy’s most
recent operational role was VP of Software at Ambric, Inc., a Portland, ORbased fabless semiconductor
startup company building a highly programmable Teraops parallel-processing chip. Prior to Ambric,
Jothy cofounded Service Integrity, a Web services monitoring company. Previously, Jothy was COO and
CTO of GeoTrust, CEO and CTO of NovaSoft (rebranded Factpoint), and co-founder of Webspective, which
sold in 2000 to Inktomi for $106 million.
